Jack Kirby, known as "The King of Comics," was a pioneering force in the comic book industry. Over his 52-year career, he co-created some of the most iconic characters and series, including Captain America, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, the Avengers, the New Gods, and the Eternals. His innovative storytelling, dynamic artwork, and boundless creativity revolutionized the comic book medium, leaving an enduring legacy that continues to inspire artists and writers worldwide.

Ray Wyman Jr. has an extensive 40-year career in business writing and marketing research. He is a lifelong fan of American comic books and established a friendship with Jack during his work on "The Art of Jack Kirby." Ray’s dedication to preserving and celebrating Kirby's legacy continues with the podcast "Conversations with Jack" and his memoir titled “Chillin’ with Jack.”

Peter S. Burke has an award-winning career in music publishing, with songs recorded by Ringo Starr, Whitney Houston, Johnny Mathis, Bing Crosby, QuarterFlash and others. Peter's partnership with Ray began with a shared vision to bring Jack Kirby's unfinished works to life. Peter's journey with Jack's legacy has been inspiring and challenging.

The original company was incorporated in 1992 and created to manage various projects that the original partners called "The Art of Jack Kirby." These included a book (published in 1992) and a folio of Jack's unpublished works (published in 1993). Other projects were planned but unfortunately never realized. The corporation was officially wound down in 1994. Blue Rose Press LLC is a new company that follows the spirit of the original partnership.
